Opening my eyes, my eyelids somehow felt heavier than liquid concrete; my head was painfully throbbing as it squeezed my brain with every heartbeat, and that's when I came to realize that gravity had been pulling on the wrong end of my body which has now gone entirely limp.

Squinting my eyes, they repeatedly flickered as they hardly adjusted to the faint light seeping through the silhouette of what seemed like a broken windshield; sluggishly tilting my swollen head, I could see nothing, but a graveyard of glistening fragments soaked in velvet and that's when it struck me with bold letters, CAR ACCIDENT!
