Ballet of Obsession

Buhle, a South African ballerina in Japan, dances to escape her loneliness and to hold on to the dream that brought her across the world. For Ryohei, a policeman hollowed by grief, she becomes more than a dancer on a stage- she becomes his solace, his fixation, the answer to an ache he cannot name.
What begins as silent admiration grows into a relentless pursuit. Buhle resists, yet every step she takes seems to lead her back to him. Her life becomes a performance she cannot step out of, caught between her own will and the weight of his desire.
