The Zero Requiem was supposed to be the end. Lelouch vi Britannia died on that float, taking the world's hatred with him. He had paid his tab. He had earned his rest.

But the world-or perhaps something crueler-wasn't done with him yet.

Lelouch wakes up in a Sutherland cockpit in the Shinjuku Ghetto, years before his death, with every memory of the future intact. He remembers the mistakes. He remembers the bloodshed. And he refuses to let them happen again.

Armed with the mind of a Demon Emperor and the hindsight of a martyr, Lelouch sets out to destroy Britannia once more. But this time, he isn't playing for chaos. He's playing a perfect game.
