People are afraid of someone that is different. No compassion, but judgement. When something tragic happens everything changes for people: A death of a family member and events that no one should ever go through.

Two students transfer from Saint Nicholas School for Trouble Youth to Gravity Fall's top hero school. Poppy and Dipper, best friends and have their own troubles they've dealt with but they always had each other. Poppy cares about her community and tries to use her wealth to care for the community that she has. Dipper's goal in his mind was to protect the people that he cared about and his loyal to Poppy's family. But what happens when he starts to care about more people that he can manage and rekindles an old friendship that turns romantic? How will he be able to hide what he struggles with? Will he be able to be vulnerable with new people? Will he be able to protect them all? Will he have to sacrifice himself in order for the people he cares for to be safe? Will he be able to save and protect people or will the voices stop him?

Something different, doesn't have to be scary.
