Kai has horns and because of that he is marked by difference, and from that moment, the world decided to fear him.

He grew beneath whispered prayers and cautious glances, never knowing why the heavens watched him so closely-until the night a beam of light from the heaven poured down on him. Chosen by Reon-Father of Light- itself for a purpose yet unnamed, Kai becomes a living question even the priests cannot answer.

As his power awakens, the world begins to fracture.
Hallows roam more freely, their shadows creeping into villages once thought safe. Ancient murmurs speak of a forgotten demon of darkness stirring beneath the earth, testing the seals that once bound it. And high in the mountains, long-silent legends breathe again-the Malyari, winged beings of feather and flame, said to appear only when war between light and shadow draws near.
