Getting settled in, there is one major challenge that she needs to overcome this year: High School.

When she hangs out with Billy at the ice cream shop on Thursday afternoon, just having fun and roller blading around, the "bullies" strike again, and this time, Ky is taking her revenge for days of torment.
Removed from the home after an incident takes place at the Roller Blading Rink, Ky is then taken to a nearby hospital, where she's treated for damages.
After she's released, a new threat emerges in the state of Georgia, so Ky, El, and her friends and family all team up to fight one last time, for good.
In the end, the monster is defeated, everyone is happy, but Ky ends up sacrificing herself for the love of her life, Billy, and her new best friend, El Hopper.
