This book is a sequel to fourteen, where Lloyd went off to school in another realm and got into some messed up teenage shit, and now he's back, and has to help the Ninja investigate a new villain like nothing is different. Obviously, everything will also go to shit.

Background:
fourteen was kind of like a genderbent version of thirteen set in the Ninjago universe with Lloyd as the doomed teenager, aka Tracy.

This kind of happened when I watched thirteen for the first time whilst in the Ninjago fandom. I still love Ninjago and I still haven't seen a male equivalent of thirteen or Mean Girls or that kind of movie in that kind of reckless cathartic teenage way, so I did it myself.

This book can possibly be read without fourteen, but you'll lose a LOT of context, so I'd recommend just settling down for the long run and enjoying the full story
