Introvert Violet Harbors is rebuilding her life piece by piece. Throwing herself into her career as a budding travel journalist, Violet discovers she's desperate for change. As she works to escape her own head, and desk, the one thing she can't seem to evade is her neighbor.
Jetson Monroe is the town's smiling face. Outwardly, he's the shining star behind the town's bakery but, inside, he's growing tired of running from the shadows that plague the dark recesses of his mind.
When the cards finally align for Violet, she's awarded a once-in-a-lifetime trip to backpack Mount Denali in Alaska. Ready for the chance to adventure outside of her own head, she can't think of a better person to explore The Last Frontier with (or of another person in general) than her outgoing and energetic neighbor. As the two opposites embark upon this stunning journey, mother nature strikes and leaves the pair stranded, alone, in a desperate dash for survival.
