Why now, why when I was finally living for myself did he come crashing into my life like a bulldozer. I never loved him before but I did care, I cared too much to the point where it was almost sad to remember back on. Back then he didn't care, he always looked at me with cold distant eyes as if forbidding me to get close to him. So why was he looking into my eyes with such raw emotion as I told him to leave. But this is my second life, and I refuse to change, or dilute myself for anyone especially a man. I promised myself I was going to live as me, and there was no way I was changing now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Valleria Ramirez once lived married to a cold distant man, she lived and died for him. Then she wakes up back in her four year old body and swears to live as her self and never change for anyone. she swears to find love that she so helplessly craved and live a long happy life. Alarick Howell was his name, the man didn't care much for her in her first life, so why did he care now? Always hovering always around her, at first she didn't mind as she didn't notice him but as time went on he was always there. Will she find love with him or will he continue to wound her with his cold distant eyes, only time will tell. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story is mine and it is one of my first originals so I hope you guys like it ! Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
