The Diggs Family

Mr. Daveed Diggs has what some might call a "secret" family-though, truth be told, it's not all that secret. It's just that only Lin and Christopher ever really knew about them. Not because he was hiding anything, but because Daveed's never been one to talk much about his personal life. He's the kind of man who lets his work speak louder than his words.

So when three little girls came barreling down the aisle of the theater one afternoon, shrieking "Daddy!" At the top of their lungs, it was safe to say the entire cast and crew froze mid- rehearsal. Someone gasped. Jasmine literally spun in place. And Daveed just broke into the biggest grin anyone had ever seen him wear.

They launched themselves at him like twin comets, all curls and giggles and glittery sneakers, and he caught them both with practiced ease.
