Kion. One night, he goes out alone. He never comes back.

Days later, Kion is found far from home. He washes up at the Tree of Life half-dead. Rani, the daughter of King Sahasi, saves him. She was raised to hate lions like him, so she wants a reason to turn away. She can't.
Kion wakes up and lies about what happened. If he tells the truth, it could start a war.
While two kingdoms sit on the edge of violence, Kion and Rani grow closer in secret. Healing turns into trust. Trust turns into something neither of them is ready to name. But blood debts do not disappear. And the truth is coming.
