Dear reader, welcome to my world.
My name is Salisu Khadija Alkali, and though I am quiet and calm, my life has been anything but ordinary.
The house I grew up in was never silent. With fifteen voices echoing through its walls - my dad, Alhaji Salisu Alkali; my mom, Hajiya Aisha Alkali; my stepmom, Hauwa Alkali; and twelve children - silence was a luxury I rarely knew. Yet in the middle of all that noise, I remained the observer, the second child who carried responsibility while dreaming of something greater.
I am a dietician, passionate about nourishing lives. I am a fashion designer, running shops that celebrate culture and elegance. And I am the proud founder of SAH Foundation, an organisation dedicated to helping women find strength and hope. My family is proud of me, but they still whisper about one thing: my refusal to chase love or romance.
My mom is always reminding me about suitors, but she already knows my answer. My focus is not on romantic affairs - it is on building myself, my career, and my purpose.
