Reflections In The Holy City

At twenty-three, Elliott has learned to navigate Charleston's queer scene with his eyes wide open-he knows the players, the games, and where all the bodies are buried in the Holy City. But when someone from his community reaches out for help after being targeted by a predator Elliott knows too well, he's forced to confront his own scars while seeking justice for others. Between therapy sessions unpacking his trauma and a chaotic love life that includes exes, situationships, and unexpected passion, Elliott discovers that healing isn't linear and revenge is messy. This is a raw exploration of young Black queer life in the South-the beauty, the chaos, the community, and the secrets we keep. Sometimes the only way forward is through reflection, even when what you see breaks your heart.
