Ahhhhhh guys be nice please this is like my first real try at this and my first public story, I ask that you are kind and provide helpful feedback if you have any! I can't promise I will take it but I'll at least look at it. I also might make a character list at some point for it if anyone wants it, because I thought really hard on a lot of small details. So, without further ado, the description:
Between the Heartbeats is a quiet, aching story about the moments we survive in silence-the pauses between panic and calm, love and loss, before everything changes. The Things that go unheard unless you're looking for the silence and the space between the beats, between life's most basic rhythm. It's a gentle reminder that not everything is how it seems, sometimes you need to look at more than just the beat.
Mel Calloway lives in the spaces most people don't notice: between breaths, between words, between the ticking of time itself. Haunted by a past she barely remembers but never escapes, she leans on routine, observation, and the steady presence of Rowan Hale-her lifelong neighbor and best friend-who seems to shine effortlessly in a world she struggles to face.
As senior year unfolds, fractures begin to show in both their lives. Old wounds resurface, unspoken truths press closer, and one moment threatens to become the last. What follows is not a story of saving, but of staying-of choosing to exist in the fragile space between breaking and healing.
This is a story about grief that lingers, love that waits, and the quiet courage it takes to keep going-one heartbeat at a time.

MANxMAN
Noah Price and Cole Row are polar opposites and therefore both despise the other. They are both teachers within an American high school, though, Noah Price is British, insensitive and a mystery.
Noah had always wanted to be a teacher, and when the job to be head of the English faculty arose a year prior to the current day he jumped on the opportunity.
However, he now gravely regrets packing everything up and leaving for America when he is introduced to the one man everyone else seems to love. The outgoing, childish and charismatic Cole Row: head of the drama faculty.
Their differences clashed immediately and they became sworn enemies. Easier said than done, when everyone within the school (and seemingly world) want these two opposites to attract. Will it work out? Can Noah exchange his hereditary like for tea for the native Kool-Aid? Or can you not take the British out of the Britain?
BOOK ONE of the Row brothers series.
