*** " I've never ever hated someone so much in my life like I hate you." I spat coldly, shoving my finger at his hard chest. He instantly grabbed my finger in his strong grip. " Liar." Seth whispered harshly, his midnight eyes gazing into my pale green ones as his raven black hair glistened in the dark. " You've will never love someone as much as you love me Buttons and we both know that ." He whispered into my ear, leading my hand to his chest as I could feel his heart beat. My heart stopped pounding against my ribs and I looked into his eyes as suddenly it felt like everything had stopped at that moment. " Yes, I love a heartless, cruel and cold boy. " I breathe quietly. " If I was heartless, I wouldn't know how to love. So how could I love you?"

As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
