Fourteen year old Leon Garcia's sister is dead.
Or she's supposed to be, but because of a miracle recovery, she's alive and well. And it might have something to do with the strange figure in Leon's dreams.
Leon is struggling with bullying at school, and was granted a wish by a mysterious djinn; which they used to ask for an escape.
In response, the djinn gave them and their friends a pocket dimension hidden behind the school water tanks where anyone who enters becomes a bird. Leon and their best friend and crush, Riley, name it The Bird Game and treat it as a lunchtime activity at school. And slowly, Leon's life takes a turn for the better.
