I came back to Forks fighting between temporary and permanent. Just helping out, just staying long enough to find my footing again. But between fishing trips, cooking meals for the people I love, and the quiet rhythm of rain on pavement, I start to realize how much of this place still belongs to me.

Life settles into small moments, smelts frying for game night, grocery store run-ins, late evenings that feel warmer than they should. Being home isn't loud or dramatic. It's steady. It's choosing to stay.

And somewhere in all of it, something slow and unexpected grows between me and Charlie. Nothing rushed. Nothing overwhelming. Just shared space, attention, and the comfort of being seen.
