"Wait, you didn't. Did you?" Hawks dropped his hand to his side and now that Dabi knew what he was looking for, he was able to zero in on the little bump in Hawks' otherwise wonderfully tight turtleneck. "I thought you said it would cause PR problems or some bullshit."

"It will. When they notice it."

Dabi's eyes remained on Hawks' stomach as he asked, "why'd you do it then?"

"Because you dared me to."

Dabi blinked. Was Hawks really that easy? Just dare him to do something and he can't refuse? Dabi would absolutely be testing that theory out later.

"And," Hawks continued, cheeks flushed a red to rival his feathers, "because you told me you thought it would look good on me."
