On Halloween night, Mercedes joins her friends and family at a trail ride, to escape her recent heartbreak and uplift her spirits.
Among the riders is Symere, whose presence is too calm, his gaze lingers too long, talks too smoothly in the dark and unfortunately, captures Mercedes attention far too easily.
With no phone service and miles of land in every direction, Mercedes claims the night as hers in the name of love.
