Jane Merrimack grew up in the Morrigan Academy, a vicious school meant to train girls to become mastermind spies. There, the teachers made her think that the only thing valuable about her was her skill at firing a gun or escaping from a chair. Even though she is the star student, the most promising pupil, she has doubts about the school. Then in a twist of fate, a situation where she is in danger causes something deep inside of her to activate-something not natural. Rescued by a group of kids who possess odd abilities like herself, she's taken to a base where she tries to get a Stitch, something permanently tattooed or placed on someone's body that will activate their power. But even this creates more questions. Where did Jane really come from?
