She didn't run away. She survived. Edel was sixteen when she realized that love at home always smelled of alcohol and safety was a foreign concept. Between screaming parents, unpaid bills, and siblings forced to grow up too fast, she was left with only one choice: Leave-or end up the same way. With a bag full of clothes, a broken heart, and no destination, she boarded a bus to Cork. She didn't know where she would sleep. She didn't know who she could trust. All she knew was that Dublin would have destroyed her. But sometimes running away leads you to exactly where you first stayed. To a family that wasn't perfect, but was there. To a boy who listened to her without trying to fix her. To a life that slowly began to feel like hope. John Kavangh was the last thing she expected. But 17-year-old John isn't just the captain of the school's rugby team, he's also the most popular boy in school. However, his eyes are solely on a girl whose life couldn't be more complicated.

Tommen Next Class Novella following Maeve Biggs, Eoin Gibson, Caoimhe Kavanagh, and Ryder Feely. The summer between first and second year at Tommen the group nicknamed the Prodigies or the Weirdos, depending on who you talk to go an adventure. This story is a little different than the others in the series. It is written in 3rd person and in past tense as it is more of a recalling of a story. Also, I am not Irish and the geographical aspects of this story are not accurate whatsoever, so if that bothers you, you might want to skip this one :) Hope you enjoy <333
