This is a slam poem I wrote when I saw the news that trans people had been classified as a "nihilistic, violent" threat group. It was originally written for my creative writing class, but I feel compelled to share it.
This is a poem for everyone, regardless of their identity or their beliefs, where they live or what their life is like.
This might not change your mind, but it might inspire some people who are undergoing difficult times.

«شیار» بە نیازی تۆڵەسەندنەوە دەگەڕێتەوە بۆ ژیانی «بێری» کچی ئاغا. بەڵام کاتێک نھێنییەکی پیرۆز بە ناوی «شەن» لە نێوانیاندا ئاشکرا دەبێت، هەموو هاوکێشەکانی تۆڵە تێکدەچن و ڕابردوو و داهاتوویان دەخاتە بەردەم تاقیکردنەوەیەکی کوشندە.

See your papa is alright" he said, softly stroking her hair "N-no yo-you ar-are ly-lying y-you a-are no-not we-well" she said between hiccups ( No, you are lying, you are not well ) She hugged him tightly, like if she let go, he would disappear ❖ She looked at them in confusion, not understanding why they were laughing at her Mr. Handsome "Why are you all making fun of Mr. Handsome? You shouldn't do that, you all know Mr. Handsome is god's favorite" She said cutely, her lips forming into a pout "How do you know if he's god's favorite or not?" هَــەنَــاّر&تــرُوسْــک "شادیـی قەلبــی حەزینــم، نوریــی چاوانــم ئــەتـۆیـی مەرهەمـی زام و برینم، دەرد و دەرمانــم ئــەتــۆیی 📝" {چــیــرۆکــێــکــی کــوردیــە} کــورتــە؛ ژیانی هەنار وەک تاقانەی دوو برا و کچە بەنازەکەی ماڵەوە، تابلۆیەکی بێخەوش بوو لە بەختەوەری. بەڵام ڕاستی وەک زریانێک دێت و هەموو شتێک سەراوژێر دەکات. کاتێک پیاوێکی نەناسراو دەرگای ڕابردووی لێ دەکاتەوە و دەیسەلمێنێت کە هەنار کچی ڕفێنراوی ئەوە، ژیانی لە نێوان دوو خێزاندا دابەش دەبێت. گەشتەکە لێرەوە دەست پێناکات، بەڵکو ڕوداوەکان ئەوکاتە دەگاتە لوتکەی شۆکبوون کە هەنار لە ناو خێزانە نوێیەکەیدا، ڕوبەڕوی ئامۆزاکەی دەبێتەوە؛ ئەو کوڕەی کە ڕۆژێک ناچار بوو بەهۆی هەڕەشەی براگەورەکەیەوە جێی بهێڵێت. ئایا چارەنوس یاری بە هەنار دەکات، یان ئەمە دەرفەتێکە بۆ ئاشکرابونی هەموو ڕاستیەکان؟! مافی تەواوی چیرۆکەکە بۆخۆم ئەگەڕێتەوە بردنی قەدەغەیە‼️ نوسین:10/7/2026 بڵاوکردنەوە:20/7/2026 نــوســەر: ئـــێـــرا.

هذه القصة وليدة خيالٍ جامح ، تنسج حروفها على نول الوهم والاحتمال فإن تماهت شخصياتها أو تداخلت أحداثها مع شيءٍ من واقعكم فاعلموا أن ذلك لم يكن محض مصادفة...بل مقصودًا ؛ ذبحني مرخي الرمش الخجول الناعس النجدي هواني وإن هويته ما قويت الموت من دونه.. لا منه رمى رمشه ولا مس خده الوردي تضيع الشمس . . وأنوار المك ان بنظرة عيونه
