Derek Vuldeer can't remember a time of peace between the Witches and Warlocks. They have always been at war - whether massacres of entire clans or purposefully ending an entire Bloodline - and Derek's family is one of the biggest names amongst the violence. Though his rule is unlike his father's and brother's, the sudden draining of Magic in his territory raises doubts over his authority. Luckily, Derek doesn't have to share that extra weight alone. After rescuing her from the Void, Derek comes to rely on Leena to figure out what happened to Tartae's Magic. And after five years of isolation, Leena can't wait to return to the easy but lonely life of a Dark Magic Witch. Unfortunately, more than a few creatures blame the Dark Magic Leena Wields for the sudden absence of Magic. Already haunted by the eternal darkness of the Void, Leena now has to face the scrutiny of an entire dimension as she becomes the leading suspect.
