"Crime was certainly a problem in the 1930s America, especially since the Great Depression made many people so desperate for money.
The murder rate was as high as ever - nobody would even think of wandering the streets during the night hours alone or leaving the door unlocked.
America was in great need of uncorrupted and skilled people, who would be willing to dedicate their lives to solving crimes."

After completing her education at university, and working in the police department in Atlanta for a year or so, Mikasa Ackerman moved to Chicago, determined to fulfill her ambitions, even though she was only a woman, and a young one at that - become a successful detective and raise enough money to support her family. Due to having to go through a lot during the past few years, Mikasa is certain that she is prepared to deal with anything.
But when she starts working for DI Annie Leonhardt, the young girl isn't so sure about that anymore.

[Some unpopular ships like Erwin X Petra, out of character Mikasa and possible historical inaccuracies - you have been warned.]
[I do not own Attack On Titan nor do I own the cover picture, but I own the storyline.]
