High Times, Hard Times

Jack Kelly had a tough childhood. Honestly, he still does, even living with his amazing adopted mom and brother. After meeting the cute new kid, however, he wonders if things will start to go his way

Racetrack Higgins lives with his amazing grandparents. His parents were far from the best and after being kicked out for being trans, he was glad to have his grandparents to be there for him. He's getting through high school fine, though the kid in his math class from another school certainly made it better.

Mush Meyers has been in love with his best friend for 3 years. Of course he loves just being friends, but he can't help the feeling that ate at him everything they brushed shoulders. He can only hope that starting high school, and being on a larger campus can help him lose his feelings. He sure hoped they wouldn't get worse.

Rated mature for themes of murder, suicide, and other heavy topics (oh golly). I like angst sorry. But no smut or anything like that just lots of angst. I'll also put trigger warnings in particularly heavy chapters tho
