Aron's life is mostly normal, well minus the fact that he is a werwolf. He and his pack live in a town near the mountains among humans and he is used to hiding and repressing his werwolf instincts from the public.
But there are terrible rumours surrounding the village of vicious and dangerous creatures living in the forests of the highlinds.
The members of Aron's pack are aware that there is truth to the rumours, because a pack of wild wolves lives in the highlinds. They are deemed of being savages that let themselves be controlled by their wearwolf instincts. They live in the forest and spend most of their lives in their wolf form, leading them to be more beast than man.
