Rowan Sterling is a shy and kind-hearted half-blood witch with the rare ability of Metamorphmagus. Her older brother Sebastian Sterling's dark influence has tormented since childhood. After he was corrupted wrongly by the allure of dark magic, he became a strong powerful Death Eater and a follower of The Dark Lord. Hoping to find somewhere she finally truly belongs, Rowan unfortunately finds herself targeted by bullies due to her brother's status. She is feared by many and bullied by many, called demeaning names and insults. As she becomes tormented by Sebastian's wrath and cursed book that keeps his control and manipulation over her, Rowan walks the halls in fear that he will find her and come back to torment her again just to finish what he started.

However, when the kindhearted, chaotic, and funny Weasley twins, Fred and George, befriend Rowan, seeing past her timidness and worry, her life may just take a turn for the best. They don't see her as a threat because of her brother but as a girl struggling to live in the shadow of him. They give Rowan a reason to smile and laugh again with their lighthearted pranks and kind support, even vouching to protect her. But just as Rowan begins to finally break out from her shell, the threat of her brother and his cursed book grow stronger, forcing her to confront her past and fight for her future.
