"We need to kill them! They could wipe out cities before there silenced!" He yelled, hitting the barrel of the gun against my gem hard. I flinched, his grip on my arm held me close.

"We need to get them back to base. The Director can decide what to do with them then." The taller man said, handcuffing Pearl's hands together. Pearl was thrown into the large black van. I followed soon after. A set of handcuffs, like Pearl's locked my hands together.

"Pearl, I'm scared." I said, tears welling in my eyes.

"Me too, Ame." She replied, tears falling onto her lap. I sat my head on her shoulder as the car drove farther and farther away from the temple, until it was gone.
