Maebre is a shy, yet feisty girl when threatened. She can get sarcastic at the wrong times. She lives in a world of vampires that allow slaves. The is an area in the world that allows humans to be free, but you must be granted it by your owner. Slowly the places humans call "home" there family members are being taken and sold off to powerful male vampires. The seem to be always girls in the age of 15 and up. If you get taken and sold you could have many responsibilities. Hopefully you get a somewhat nice owner. You could be a maid, blood bag, or even bought to do the dirty. Whatever happens your likely.
When Maebre gets taken away from her family she's sold to one of the most powerful vampires. Her owner wants her for all purposes, but really just wants to make her fall for him. Then break her till she's nothing. His name is Vlade.
