Her breathing began to quicken, her head began to pound, and her vision began to swirl. "N-no!" Her voice was raspy and sore. all those hours of crying and fearing the worst came true. "Griffin, you said you wouldn't leave like all the others did. You LIED!" she continued sobbing and yelling into her hands. The rain was light but still enough to soak both of them. He stood there. Letting his blonde hair hang in his face as he pretended to ignore her. "I didn't lie, I'm not leaving, just......I......" he sighed and walked down the sidewalk, disapering into the mist. She sat in the middle park wet and slowing slipping away inside, for the last and final time. "Morrigan, are you OK?" a male voice calls from behind. Sam runs up behind her and puts his coat on her. "Ware is Griffin?" he asked confused. "He left." she whispered in a lost tone. He tried his hardest not to smirk in victory and helped her up. "Come to my house, tell me everything."

It had been months since the world had fallen into chaos. The once bustling cities were now hauntingly silent, their streets overrun by the undead. "You're acting a little too calm about all this, Jade." Tori couldn't move from the corner she currently slumped in. She spoke in a small, quiet voice, not wanting to be too loud. She was afraid those things would hear her. "If I'm not calm then who will be?" She said, a tone of urgency in her voice. Tori swallowed hard. Jade's eyes locked onto Tori's momentarily, pausing her packing. She watched as Jade adjusted her jaw before going back to her task. "I have clothes that you can use," Tori watched the other girl throw comfortable clothes into both packs. "They're mostly black," Jade looked back at her again, giving her a quick once over. "You'll live." The casual banter made Tori feel a bit better - but there was nothing hiding the feeling of fear, no matter how hard you try to ignore it. She could see fear even in the fearless goth girl's hands, as they shook lightly with every movement. 'You'll live', she repeated in her head. How ironic. "Jade, I -" "I know, Vega. I know." Tori didn't hear the usual bite in her voice. A somewhat slow burn full of action, violence, adventure, love, and turmoil. Eventual Jori.
