Izana Kurokawa's fake death results into a barrage of unfortunate incidents. One of them is Kakucho Hitto's depressed state, and Manjiro Sano's outbursts that lead to the formation of Bonten. However, after the death of Manjiro Sano, head of the dangerous criminal organization, and Haruchiyo Akashi "Sanzu", the organizations second-in-command, Kakucho Hitto is left to lead the organization as the highest in the hierarchy. Meanwhile, Izana continues to pursue his dream as the director of an orphanage for the sole purpose of protecting orphans and giving them a space to call home. When Kakucho and Izana's paths cross, something stirs up, and it was anything but magical.
