Born in 1967, Sebastian lived in Ontario, Canada. At the age of 5, he was abducted from his family my Dr Martin Brenner, and taken to Hawkins Lab, where he is infused with the blood of Henry Creel and trained to use his newly developed telekinetic powers.

Then in 1977, Eight, better known as Kali, convinces 10 year old Seb to escape from Hawkins lab, and run away with her to Chicago, where they find a small gang out outcasts who take them in.

Seb wasn't so sure of their plan at first, believing that the people they were hunting down were truely innocent. But Kali got in his head, showed him things that they had done, what they want to do.

Later, in 1984, Eleven comes to look for Kali. But what she doesn't expect to find, is that Seb is with her. Now 17, Seb decides to abandon the group with El, after months of her being there. She takes him back to Hawkins with her, where he meets the party, and Charlie.
