A planned escape

Ianira is our dear main character, who's a woman in the 19th century, she's put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into getting accepted for an apprenticeship at a psychiatric hospital - where she gets Aleksei assigned as her patient. Aleksei is known as one of the most violent patients in the hospital, for reasons you'll find out later on. Yet when Ianira tends to him, she finds him to be a rather kind hearted man - which makes her go and research his various different psychological illnesses (ones that even she isn't aware of, due to the lack of technology + research for mental health in the 19th century). Throughout the story the two main characters grow closer to one another, one an unhealthy dependent and one sided bond, and the other from desire to research. How will this end up? Will they manage to live happily ever after? That we can only find out whilst reading.
