The Talons of Rathia

In the shadow of the Capital of Argos lies Zenira, a village so poor its children are taught to choose between becoming mercenaries or thieves. When their fathers-both soldiers-are declared missing in a brutal border conflict, two boys, Riku and Palacios, are left with nothing but hunger, grief, and a cruel law that demands proof of death before mercy is granted.

As the Argosy government turns its back on them and a feared prisoner is brought to the local prison, the boys place their last hope in Palacios' uncle, a legendary arena champion now serving as a Sheriff.

What awaits them is a dangerous adventure in an increasingly hostile and war-torn world. One where politics, greed, and power decide who lives, who dies, and who is forgotten.
