This is an essay I wrote for class. I had to write about a journey that a ancient Egyptian amulet might take on its way through time to get to me.
It's written in first person from the amulet's point of view.
Still haven't gotten my grade of this I'll update this when I get my score.
(Also this was a 5 paragraph essay so I'm going to publish it in 5 parts for the next 5 days)

The first project that I started in early secondary school. Looking back at it is not that good. but seeing as I may not go back to it I might as well share it. Long ago the great gods of this world guided and protected all of the creation, but that all changed when the darkness welled up from below the ground and ravaged to lands, seas and sky. All kingdoms fell. With the last of their light. the gods bestowed their power upon chosen warriors, each blessed with power to destroy the darkness.
