Diana Brooks, an orphaned student journalist, is is tired of high school. With graduation looming, a stack of AP classes, and the constant need to maintain her flawless academic record, she's desperate for something to break the monotonously normal flow of life.

That distraction arrives in the form of a chilling mystery: a series of murders, each scene marked by a scrap of paper bearing a quote from a classic work of literature. While everyone around her insists she keep her distance, Diana can't ignore the story unfolding before her.

Determined to uncover the truth, she begins investigating on her own. But as the clues grow darker and the killer seems to stay one step ahead, Diana must ask herself: can she solve the mystery before it's too late, or will her search for answers make her the next victim?
