Static in the Silence

"Hazbin hotel, huh?" She tested the name on her tongue, holding the sketch up right next to the building. There were too many similarities for it to be just a coincidence, and she nodded in satisfaction, before going up to the door and gently knocking.

Skye always knew she was going to hell, a prophecy nobody ever let her forget. So when she died at thirteen, she wasn't surprised to find herself there, and she wasn't scared to fight for her own survival. After three years, she'd established her place in the world under the masked alias of the Silent Reaper.

Every day was one full of thrill, hiding among the crowd while slowly accumulating power, but always staying just below the radar. She adored it, whilst simultaneously despising every moment.

That's when Skye turned to a friend for advice, who suggested the Hazbin Hotel. Despite having nothing but a sketch to go off, it wasn't difficult to find the building.

And so she started a new life, a new chapter of her story, with no intent of looking back.

But the past can't be forgotten forever.
