Shovel Man is a used to be demented human named Norman Windshed that was fascinated with shovels and loved to bury things growing up since he was a child. killed by his annoying co-worker/colleague's family because of an unclean death, on his death bed he gave his soul to the Underworld serving the devil, changing him into a "Demon God" of extraordinary, evil, proportion. As a The Shovel Man now terrorizes the Earth looking for people he can bury to infinite doom!
In book one of Shovel Man's evil return, instead of terrorizing the people of the Earth, he decides on making one teen boy's life a living Hell! This Teenage boy's name is Novell. Shovel Man wreaks havoc in Novell's life because he knows that there is something very special about Novell, he holds a secret... After An unprecedented event happens in Novell's life, Shovel Man is free to roam the Earth, which results in the Shovel Man trying his hardest to kill this one special teenage boy. Novell just attending High School as a senior trying to be a regular kid, starts experiencing all of these supernatural events that changes his perception of what reality is. He starts to learn how bad things can really be in life, learning that life is not always what it seems to be... As he grows into manhood, he finds out that he is no ordinary person or so he feels... Novell then learns who Shovel Man is, realizing that he has to protect his family at all cost from Shovel Man, even if the cost him his own life!
