Moving to a new town is tough. Moving to a new state is harder. Moving to a whole new country? Almost impossible.
But moving to a new planet? That's straight-up unimaginable.
Except... it's happening to me.
When you're still a kid, you don't get a vote. If your parents decide it's what's best for the family, you pack your bags (or in my case, one super-high-tech silver suitcase) and go. No arguments. No "but all my friends are here." Just goodbye Earth, hello... everything new.
New air. New sky. New gravity that makes you feel like you're floating even when you're standing still.
Everything brand new.

And that's exactly where I am right now.

This is the story of how it all happened-the secret packing, the fancy dinner that wasn't really about dinner, the spaceship that picked us up like it was an everyday taxi-and the adventures that came after.
