The Corsican Conspiracy

Captain William Ashford, a veteran of the Flanders Campaign of 1794, has returned to England after being injured in the leg in the low countries. Mostly recovered from his wounds, but still walking with a pronounced limp and a cane, he is struggling to find his place in London society. One evening, leaving Almack’s after an evening of socializing, and walking through London’s dark streets, he foils an attack on a fellow soldier. Thrown unexpectedly into a cross time-continuum covert conflict much larger than himself, Ashford will find himself faced with difficult decisions and situations that he has never before considered. As he joins the fight against an implacable enemy, he must learn new skills, master new worlds, and complete a daunting mission. With companions old and new, Ashford and his team must race against time to track the enemy through 18th century London and prevent a world-changing assassination.
