Lilith, a career criminal, lands in Fox River-the all-male prison-where her visibility as the only woman makes her both protected and exposed. She meets Michael Scofield, who sees her position as an advantage for his escape plan, and Lincoln Burrows, who instinctively shields her from danger.

After a fire destroys the guards' break room, Lilith is placed in maintenance, where she sees Michael's network of inmates forming. When the AC fails, a riot erupts; Lilith loses her guards and narrowly escapes, encountering Lincoln, a young guard, and T-Dog, whose knowledge exposes part of the plan.

Michael gets Dr. Sara Tancredi to safety while protecting Lilith from the chaos. Back in the cells, Lilith stays with Sucre, the only man she trusts. T-Dog wants to eliminate the guard who knows the escape, but Michael and Lincoln refuse.

As the riot escalates, the guard is stabbed, tear gas fills the tier, and Lincoln holds Lilith close to protect her. By now, Lilith is fully involved in Michael's plan-no longer shielded by guards, but by the people willing to risk everything for her survival.
