Han Jisung parla troppo perché ha paura di restare solo. Riempie ogni spazio con parole, risate, musica nelle cuffie sempre troppo alta. Nessuno si accorge che lo fa per non sentire i propri pensieri. Jisung ha imparato presto che a casa non si parla. Un padre che urla troppo, una madre che finge di non sentire. Non ci sono parole dolci o incoraggianti, solo parole che restano addosso: "Sei inutile" "Parli troppo" "Perché non sei come gli altri?" Lee Minho invece è quello che non dà nell'occhio. Troppo silenzioso per essere preso di mira. Troppo chiuso per chiedere aiuto. A casa sua non ci sono urla. C'è qualcosa di molto peggio: indifferenza. Genitori che non lo guardano mai davvero, che trattano la danza come una perdita di tempo. Minho smette di ballare davanti agli altri. Lo fa solo la notte, in una sala prove vuota. Si incontrano nella sala prove della scuola. Jisung ci va per scrivere testi quando i pensieri sono troppi. Minho per ballare quando il dolore diventa insopportabile. Non diventano amici subito. A volte si ignorano. A volte si fanno male senza volerlo. Ma piano piano iniziano a restare insieme, anche senza parlare.
