Takes place RIGHT after Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel! Spoilers if you haven't watched it already!!!
After Vox was defeated and the Might of Lilith was sealed, the Sinners of the Pride Ring grappled with the fact that redemption was possible. Skepticism was rampant within Pentagram City-but bits and pieces of hope were present as-well.
You were the second resident of the Hazbin Hotel. You had bonded with everyone there to some degree; Charlie, Vaggi, Husk, Angel Dust, Sir Pentious, and even Alastor! Not as much with Cherri Bomb and Baxter, since they have only been present for a short period of time.
You had been keeping an eye on Lucifer, as you had been with everyone else at the rehabilitation center. Never out of malice or suspicion, but genuine interest. You were there when he was yelled at by Charlie for trying to help. The way he cowered behind the couch and retreated to his chambers. And you saw him crawl out of the sealed Might of Lilith, bloodied and battered and bruised.
Many things had happened that day. Angel Dust returning to the Vees after you, Husk, and Cherri Bomb worked to save him; Alastor escaping captivity and defeating an empowered Vox; Vox declaring that as long as Alastor stops smiling, he's willing to blow up half of Pentagram City...
...but that didn't happen. Besides, it's all too much for you to think about right now. In the aftermath, you decide to see how Lucifer is doing. Sympathy for The Devil? How absurd. But the idea of a Sinner being redeemed was absurd as-well, and it happened regardless.
Within this sanctuary, it is hopeful. So you lead with your heart and hope for the best.
