"Hey dad." I mumble.

"Where have you been all night?" He questions.

"Chelsea's," I respond.

"When were you going to decide to tell me?" He retorts, his face red.

"I told you we should've sent her to boarding school the moment she fought that sweet girl, the cheer captain." Daisy piped in.

"Who asked you? Mind your business for once." I say, crossing my arms.

"Don't talk to your mom that way, young lady" My dad scolds, zipping up his suitcase. He roughly puts it down on the ground.

"Mom? No, mom is the one who left you, the one I should be with. But, you decided to fight for custody, but why? So, you can have some stranger half your age live with us? Yet, you have to nerve to say she's my mom. She didn't carry me for nine months. Neither did you, so you don't have the nerve to say who my mom is!"
