In which, one night, out of sheer boredom and questionable life choices, you accidentally stumble onto a "rent-a-friend" website. It looks sketchy as fuck-like the kind of thing that ends with you getting kidnapped or harvested for organs-but you're dying, so honestly? Fuck it. What do you have to lose?

You expect a stranger, maybe someone awkward or mildly tolerable. Instead, the "friend" who lives just a few miles away turns out to be Suguru Getou-the annoyingly hot guy from the engineering department you've definitely noticed because the friend he's always with is obnoxiously loud. And somehow, against all logic and common sense, this extremely suspicious decision becomes the start of something that's way more complicated than you ever signed up for.
