Avery has spent her whole life drifting through the system - foster homes, group placements, juvenile detention. Sixteen years old and already carrying the weight of someone twice her age, she moves like a girl who learned early that trust is dangerous. She keeps her past sealed tight: the fights, the charges, the nights she ran, the things she refuses to speak about. Then Jace and Enza step in. They're a married lesbian couple in their thirties, steady in a way Avery has never experienced. Jace is the quiet observer - patient, grounded, the type who notices every detail without making Avery feel watched. Enza is warmer, quicker to laugh, but sharp enough to catch every shift in Avery's armor. Together, they've built a home that's structured, safe, and full of a kind of softness Avery doesn't know how to handle. And they already have a daughter: Emry, also sixteen. Emry is everything Avery isn't - stable, rooted, raised in love. She's curious about Avery, maybe even hopeful, but she doesn't understand the kind of survival instincts Avery lives by. Their worlds collide the moment Avery moves in, and neither girl knows what to make of the other. When Jace and Enza bring Avery into their home, they call it a second chance. Avery calls it temporary. She's convinced people like them don't keep girls like her. Still, the way they look at her - like she's worth saving - shakes her more than any detention cell ever did. Now Avery stands at a crossroads: the life she knows, fast and familiar, or the life they're offering, one that feels too good to trust. The question is whether she'll let herself believe in this family... or whether she's already too far gone. This will be kind of a spinoff to 'Always You' the story wont focus much on Jace and Enza but they will play their part

Ryan Navarro traveled eleven hundred miles to the one place he swore he wouldn't go. Gavin left to escape their father's escalating psychological abuse and never came back. No calls. No explanations. Just silence, and a new life Ryan was never invited into. Now Ryan's on his brother's doorstep, bruised, furious, and nowhere else to go, wanting to hate Gavin and needing him anyway. Reconnecting should be simple. It isn't. Because the closer they get, the more the past resurfaces, and Ryan's temper threatens to burn the only second chance he's got. And Gavin is forced to face past mistakes and fears. But as the brothers push through the distance and the old wounds, they start to uncover the truth neither of them expected. They didn't just survive the same man. They became more alike than they ever knew. And their bond grew to depths neither of them knew they both needed. Will their fathers return ruin that bond, or strengthen it? This is a transformation story so you're not going to get perfect characters. In the beginning they are distant and this story is how they both change and grow together again. If you don't like seeing rough ugly characters in the beginning, then watch them change throughout this probably isn't the story for you. *Disclaimer this story does contain emotional, psychological, and physical abuse by a father. MxF relationships and family focused
