Adrien Agreste, a famous model, is binded to a curse upon wielding the Miraculous of the black cat. The person who he believed was the only one who could give him luck, Ladybug, suddenly disappears one faithful night. In distress and (mis)fortune, he finds comfort in his classmate, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, who seems to be in a panic and is hiding a dark secret.

This story takes place in its own timeline! As the one in the show is quite difficult to come up with, in this timeline Hawkmoth is still the main villain.

This story was inspired by the original concept of Miraculous Ladybug! Where it is theorised that Felix (originally the holder of the black chat miraculous and is Chat Noir) had a curse on him believed to be from the black cat miraculous and he had thought that by kissing ladybug, it would rid him from his curse. I took this idea a tweaked it a little and added more into it!
