WARRIOR CATS - LINGERING SHADOWS {FANSTORY}

It was an ordinary day in the ThunderClan, Moonclaw and his friends had no idea of the chaos that was about to come. A cat from the ShadowClan...

...slipped silently across the border.

The morning in the ThunderClan began peacefully. Dew sparkled on the ferns, and the hunting patrols returned with prey held firmly in their jaws. Shadowstar, the leader, stood in front of his den and let his gaze wander across the area.
Everything seemed calm, too calm..

No one noticed the dark shadow moving between the trees.

The ShadowClan tom was called Nightclaw. His eye gleamed as he watched the ThunderClan from a safe distance. He had come alone, even though a mission weighed heavily on his shoulders, and the StarClan seemed unusually silent today.

In the camp, several young warriors were laughing while the apprentices trained.
Moonclaw's friends, Shootingecho and Tigershade were talking, unaware that something was brewing beyond the bramble wall.
