The Confederation of Suns was once a peaceful federal republic divided into five quadrants; each quadrant was managed by a central government located on a capital planet called a Sun.

The five Suns - Dograhm, Adun, Forst, Geork, and Serphes - lived for hundreds of years in peace under the laws of the Confederation.

Sixteen years ago, however, the inhabitants of Serphes, known as the Crystal Sun, rebelled and seized the planet by force. Claiming rights over a mineral they had extracted called Black Crystal, they renamed the planet the Black Sun.

Leading the insubordination that sparked a violent civil war was the fierce and mighty commander of the resistance, Giant Fred.

Unfortunately, the war ended tragically: from the nearby planets and systems, all witnessed the complete annihilation of Serphes. As swift as a Leo-Type at full throttle speeding past your nose, an entire planet disappeared, but its cause did not: from the ashes of that war emerged a group of rebels organized and structured into small but dangerous cells, as one would never expect from a group born from agony, hunger for vengeance, and desperation. Leading this surprising and anomalous faction was Yiir Jenks, who, in honor of Giant Fred, who disappeared along with his native planet, began calling himself Giant Rebel.

The group, in those grim and dusty days, took the name Rebels of the Black Sun, or:

Re.Black.S.

And now, their war is far from over.
