Copperflight knows DuskClan won't stop. They won't stop defending their territory, they won't stop hunting in the forest to make room for rouges, and most importantly, DuskClan won't stop fighting to the death to defend their Clan, their friends, their family, their home.
But that's not the problem. DuskClan is her home, and she will willing fight to the death to defend it, at least she thinks. The problem is, the rouges know it too. But when warned of a upcoming battle, she's not sure what to do. Can she trust him with her life? With the safety of her home? There are so many questions and too many tough decisions to be made. Worst of all... What if DuskClan finds out? What if she has to make a decision she's not sure she's ready to make?

(I recommend reading the actual Warriors series by Erin Hunter before reading this. This is just fan-fiction, however all of the characters are mine. The traveling cats have returned to the mountains with an entire new Clan, StarClan's mission has been completed but there is darkness shadowing all five Clans as they attempt to establish stability in their lives. In AshClan, Slatepaws's sharp attitude and ego is finally catching up to him and he is forced to go through a very harsh wakeup call which forces him to change his perspective, despite his reluctance. In MountainClan, Mountainstar's life has changed completely in only two moons and she struggles to be a good leader while trying to build confidence, pride and respect within her Clan of rouges, kittypets and loners.
